I'm lazy.. I love shortcuts!

I'm lazy, I've established that fact long time ago. Maybe since I was in primary school. I always try to find a 'short cut' to get things done. When it was my turn to do the house chore, I would use the vacuum cleaner on my parents' tiled floor instead of a broom because I thought, I could save a lot of time without scooping the dust with a pan and transferring them to the bin. And when my mom complaint how did her very expensive Electrolux vacuum cleaner got so many scratches, I kept quiet.. You see, growing up in the 80's & 90's means that electrical appliances are scarce. It wasn't easy to find one at less than a hundred ringgit.

However, I can't stand dirt or any hygiene-related shortcomings for that matter. I can't stand sticky floor and dis-organized space around me. That's why when as soon as I handed in my resignation last year, I started planning for the installation of storing cabinets in my bedroom and the study. Then, I came up with a storage system that I thought could work and fortunately, it does!

As lazy as I am, I couldn't really stand it if my apartment is a mess or if Noah is oozing some kind of smell. That's why I am a regular at Happy Doggy Pet Salon, a laundry next to it, a car wash just around the corner and a maid service I got from my apartment's complex cleaner.

My laziness caused me something else too and lately it has been bothering me. Not because of how it looks really (OK, maybe how it looks play a major role in my next big decision) but because I find it has given me discomfort. It's my chin, my double chin to be exact. I went on the net and searched for ways to get rid of them the natural way but there's none that really appeal to me.

And then, yesterday while Kakak was cleaning away in my apartment, Easter called me to tell me that Deb is looking for a Cosmetic Surgeon to have her nose done. I happen to know one very well-known, reputable surgeon whose clients includes the royalties and wives of VVIPs. In fact, I almost did a liposuction on my tummy with him last year. But knowing me, I always chickened out at the last moment. Poor Dr. J, he called me to ask why and I said I was too scared, it's nothing to do with trust. And then it hit me, maybe I should get the fat under my chin removed. I am sure Dr. J can do that for me for practically nothing. Well, guess I can ask him next week during Deb's appointment.

And don't get me wrong, I still want to do the liposuction or maybe a tummy tuck, but since I've decided to conceive this year, I think I should wait until the whole maternity thing is over. You see, Bo & me have decided that we'd conceive towards the end of this year so the baby can come middle of next. I'm going to try for a twin so I can stop once and for all to concentrate on them for ever. And we have also decided that Dr. J will be there to do the lipo or tummy tuck as soon as I deliver by C-section so I only have 1 scar. I checked this with him and he said it's possible. Guess I'll be giving birth at Ampang Putri..

Anyway, that's too early to say, for the time being I guess I'll just worry about my double chin and see if I am brave enough to do this..
