Love hurts?

As I sat alone, my mind wandered to the conversation I had with a dear friend. She's heartbroken. The man who has promised to marry her has left her without a final word, just a simple text message suggesting that they shouldn't disturb each other. I used to think that they were happy together so naturally I was shocked when I heard this from her. He didn't really give her reason for his action. Basically, he just left her hanging there. So much for a gentleman, I'd say!

Hearing from both sides of the stories, I have concluded a few things. Though true as it may sound to me, there is no way I am going to share my thoughts with her. After all, she is a friend and she is already in a bad shape as it is. As the saying goes, if you have nothing nice to say, don't say anything at all...

I know my friend is hurting but are we to blame anybody in this failed relationship? It seems to me that the love life refuses to live longer and it's time to move on and find love elsewhere. There's so much we can do to make a relationship works but if it's not meant to be, it's not meant to be. It'd be easier to think that way than to mourn over the loss of someone who's not meant to be with us anyway.

I too had a failed relationship not long ago. I was with a man who I thought was my true soul mate for almost 10 years. But when one day, when both of us realize that our life's visions and ambitions were not the same, we didn't waste our times and split ways. We both knew that it would be useless to make the effort to make the relationship works. Coming out of a relationship like that, it helped a lot to have positive thinking.

Love, it takes 2 to make it works. If one fails, there's no point to carry on... I know this may sound cliche, but life's too short to be down & miserable... There are many good reasons to be single again... Say, let's party!
