Mybenz 3rd Anniversary Celebration

When I first saw the post in Mybenz forum about the 3rd year anniversary celebration in Cherating on 1st March, I was excited. And then, Bo came back with the news that the US trip is going to be on the same date. More excited about the US trip, I canceled our names in the list for the anniversary trip.. And then, Bo said that the US trip was postponed until further notice and I was looking forward to the anniversary already.

So, I have decided to contribute lucky draw prizes and door gifts. It's a good reason to go shopping! Off I went to get a DVD player, an MP4 player and a tea set for the Lucky Draw prizes and paper bags and face towels for door gifts. It was fun!

The night before the anniversary day, we were staying at the Legend Resort, Kuantan after 18-hole golf game at Pekan, Pahang. All 4 of us were exhausted but it was crazy for Bo, Noti & Sham as they had to wake up at 6.30 am on Saturday morning to play another 18-hole game. I got to sleep in a little bit more as I was gonna make my move to Holiday Villa Cherating (which was just next to Legend) only at 11.00 am. So, on that Saturday, after waking up at about 10.00 am, I went to have a shower and got ready to leave for Holiday Villa to receive the rest of the Mybenzers who were arriving in a group. They convoyed all the way from KL!

At around 1.00 pm, I managed to set up the registration table and prepared all the 35 nos of goody bags. When they arrived at 2.30 pm, everything was gone! And after that only I had to eat a little something. I was hungry but forgot about it because we were so busy! After I cleaned up everything, I went to my room and got a little rest before heading to the beach for some games. It was so much fun! Watching all Mybenzers together in a fun games like that was so much fun...

And then after shower, we went down again to the lobby for our dinner where the lucky draw and prize giving ceremony was being held. We had really good food and nobody complaint but they complimented instead. The corn and lamb were the nicest! I got a MB CD cover contributed by Adi at the Lucky Draw, along with 9 other Mybenzers. It's a nice silver color tin cover with a big Mercedes Benz logo on top of it. It matches Mercy's color. After the dinner, we went off to a nearby stall for a TT session. We were talking back about some experience we had during the day and how funny everything was.

By 12.30 am, Bo & I decided we'd better get some rest. And we had to wake up for breakfast the next day at 8.00 am and that's what we did. It was a very heavy breakfast that we had very little time to pack to check out and our trip back to KL. We went down to the lobby at 11.30 am and saw MSK and his friend cleaning up their very wet golf clubs and so we joined them...

After the group photo shoot, everybody left back to KL and we had a convoy with more than 20 cars.. It was great to see more that 20 Mercedes Benz on the road at the same time like a snake... We went our separate ways at Temerloh toll with great memories and tired body, mind & soul... Tonight, we are meeting up again for a post-anniversary TT session... Going to get ready now..
