Debts be gone!

I was reading through Quirin's post on her blog debt o debt and I remembered the telephone conversation I had with my banker just the other day.

A few days before that, I received a letter from my bank saying that they have increased my credit limit by RM3k... I was so excited (I always mistakenly thought that credit cards are free money). I know it means trouble in shopping paradise again for me. Without taking into serious consideration on how wise I should 'use' the credit, I took Bo to a pro shop and bought him a new driver (his current driver is 4 years old and apparently non-conforming, whatever that means).

And I shopped and shopped again.. of course! And then, one day I decided to get my own driver (after trying Bo's new driver and liking how it feels). So, we went to Taylormade Concept Store (the only store that carries the type of driver I want) and decided to purchase it. I called up my bank and asked if I have another RM2000+ to spare for the driver but unfortunately not. I have used up my credit to the maximum! Obviously, the driver had to wait for next month when the credit cards debts all been paid...sob..sob..sob.. I still left the store with a purchase though, a visor and oh! a deposit to the driver.

Come to think of it, I am so badly in debt.. All RM20k between the 3 cards that I have! I didn't realize how big the amount is until it's written down... S**t! I should stop buying on impulse from now on...

On a positive note, I know I can get away with this soon... I believe I do have the same luck as Becky Bloomwood of The Shopholic Series. Good read the books are... I really can relate to the story and the characters.

P/S: Quirin, that's the book you should read for good laugh! Highly recommended.

I used to have ALL the book in the series including other books but by the same author, Sophie Kinsella. Sold them all through Ebay though, they were gone almost immediately!
