Die mosquitoes... die!

I discovered the Citronella Candles from The Body Shop last year, when I was looking for something to scent up a function room where the company I was working at held an event. I thought the smell was so strong that the 'damp' smell will be gone in no time. I brought home the left-over from the party, all 3 pieces of them.

I have been burning them one by one until they all finished up by last week. Since then, I have been to every Body Shop store I could find and looked for the exact candles and they were all sold out. These candles are limited edition and they will not be reproduced again anytime soon, if they are ever going to be at all.

So when I went into the Body Shop store at the Mid Valley megamall and saw the candles there, I was excited! I told the sale assistants how I've been looking for the candles for days. It was such a relief that I finally found them there. She said they only have 15 pieces left and was shocked when I said I want to take all of it altogether!

The citronella candles are useful. Not only does it smell good, they also keeps the insects away, especially mosquitoes. A newspaper from few days ago reported that the place with most dengue case in Selangor is Subang Jaya and I live here. I am not going to burn any mosquito coils so these candles are the best alternative, I believe.

All the 15 candles that I got, I am going to spare some for my mom. You see, my parents house is surrounded by bushes and very very prone to insects bites and stings. And few of them will be placed near Noah's bed so that he won't get bitten by mosquitoes. Did you know that dog's worst enemy is mosquito? Only one bite and they can kill a dog; They can cause heart worms to the dog and kill them indirectly.

So, I will be sleeping well tonight knowing that my citronella is protecting me from those harmful mosquitoes bites!
