I went to a Feng Shui (or Fungsui as my late grandpa used to call it) shop a couple of days ago with Lucy. Thanks to her for infecting me with mild obsession with this Chinese Superstition.
I've always been loyal to the half Chinese blood that runs through my vein. Grown up with my late grandpa and mostly Chinese community made me more Chinese than Malay (I supposed this is what you call a Berunai people in Sabah). Although my father is still a true Berunaian, I practice more Chinese beliefs than any other religion. He doesn't seem to mind... he's a cool dad anyway.
Anyway, back to the Feng Shui thing, I asked the 'master' (or rather the shop assistant), how can I multiply the money... She said I should wear some yellow color stone or a mystic knot that represent wealth and prosperity. I quite like the yellow stone pendant but it was slightly more expensive than the Jade mystic knot so I settled for the jade instead. Then, Lucy's sister thought that a three-coins would probably help me with the money too. Apparently, if you place the 3-coins in your purse in between a folded big money, the money will start to grow. At RM6.80 a piece, I didn't mind trying. There's no harm in it, right? So I made my purchase and wishing that there are some truth to these claims (or beliefs)...
The very next day, before breakfast, I tried withdrawing money from the ATM as I had only RM50 left in my purse. My ATM card couldn't work! I tried again on another bank and still it didn't work... I guess the mystic knot is doing its job. A mystic knot apparently would circulate the movement of your money in circle and that it won't get lost or away... Then out of nothing, Bo called me to say that he's near and he'd like to see me before he went off to his another meeting. And he gave me some cash. Much more than what I had in my purse that day.. I guess the coins are working their charms. You know, multiplying the amount of cash I had in my purse that morning...
On Tuesday, when Lucy will be back from KK for her visa interview, I'll drag her to the Fengshui shop again... This time I want protection and good will and good relationship... Call me greedy, I call it being human.. hehehe!
