Me & Becky Bloomwood

I just can't wait for the release of the movie 'Confessions of a Shopoholic' based on the book by the same name written by Sophie Kinsella. I know they have started filming. At least that's what the newsletter I subscribed to announced not long time ago.

I started reading the book I think 3 years ago and since the first book, I religiously waited for the sequences. The way Sophie Kinsella wrote it made me addicted to it. It used to take me 3 months just to finish a book, maybe a 300-pages one. But with the Shopoholic series, it took me only 3 days. It's that addictive!

I guess being able to relate to the major character of the books, Becky Bloomwood really made me hooked. You've got to read it yourself to know what I mean!

Since the first Sophie Kinsella's book I read, I didn't stop until I read everything she writes, except those she wrote under the pen-name Madeline Wickham. I guess those are a little bit boring. Apart from the shopoholic series, Sophie Kinsella also did amazing writing with Undomesticated Goddess, Can you keep a secret? and Remember me?. But of course, the series are my all time favorite!
