Nostalgia

Remember when it used to be difficult for us to watch a movie at the cinema just because we were too young to be in it? And it was difficult to rent Hollywood movies because there were just hard to come by and all that was available in the store were Chinese Drama Series?

I was a bit lucky though, having had a grandfather who was a movie buff and an aunt who resides in the USA, who kept on supplying us with the latest movies tapes at that time.

I was reading Alycat's Blog, when I smiled alone remembering all the movies that I have watched together with my late grandpa when I was growing up. These are the movies that we enjoyed watching together in those days...

1. God Must Be Crazy
2. All the Indiana Jones installment
3. Star Wars: The return of the Jedi
4. Never Ending Story
5. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle (taught me about pizza, and I remember how I used to drag Mom to Hyatt to get our pizzas - Pizzahut was unheard of at that time)
6. All that Kung Fu movies with Jackie Chan & Bruce Lee in it.

And the list can go on forever, it's just that I can't really recall anymore...

My grandpa used to tell me how smart those people who makes movies were. I used to ask him a lot of questions and he'd patiently answered all of them... The one thing he said that I always remember was "Listen, watch and enjoy the actions"... That was when we were watching Indiana Jones And The Temple of Doom. With the newest Indiana Jones movie being in theater currently, it's nostalgic and I would give anything to watch a movie with him again...
