Where shall I go?

I'm torn! I'm in dire need of a vacation and I don't know where to go... If you ask me 3 years ago where would I like to go for a vacation next, I can give you a looooong list of places. But I've done a lot of traveling in the last 3 years that it seems to me that I've ran out of options.

I have good reason to go traveling with Bo this time. We haven't got the chance to celebrate our first year anniversary just yet. He was too busy with work and all.. So now that all has been pretty much settled, it's time for that much needed getaway.

I've thought of several destinations but not sure which will memorable enough to mark our first year's anniversary. I want somewhere that we can talk about until our next anniversary and somewhere that allow us to do something we enjoy doing... not golfing if you wondering... something else... something we can do anywhere actually but kinda exciting to be doing it at a foreign place...*wink*

So people, help me! I need suggestions... I don't want to do Europe, very costly...what with the Euro shooting up to the sky like there's no tomorrow.. American region is way too far (we still need to be near just in case something comes up)... Asian countries are still my best option.. But where? Scrap Japan, Taiwan, Korea, China, India & Hong Kong too... They don't quite make it to my favorite list yet. So it's between Indonesia or Thailand or maybe, just maybe The Philippines. I've been to Bali just last year so that's out.. Thailand looks good actually except that I'd really like to go to Indonesia again.. Maybe Jakarta or Bandung.. I've heard that Bandung is a shopping heaven.

And at the same time Pangkor Laut and Damai Laut in Lumut, Perak are both good local destinations. I've never been there and maybe it's time... But I was thinking of celebrating my birthday there this August.. Or maybe I'll celebrate my birthday in Bandung... Gee... I'm really torn now...

Oh well, worse come to worst, I'll just let Bo choose it this time...
