Adopting again...

I am adopting again... Well, before you go on saying 'Are you sure?' , let me tell you that I have been thinking about it and after a thorough discussion with Bo, we finally think it's time that we get a companion for Noah.

However, we are not getting the same breed. It was when my brother suggested that I need a first layer protection in the current house I'm staying that I figured I needed a guard dog. I went on doing my little homework on what breed I should get. I went to several pet stores to see if I could find one that I can connect with. But all the pet stores had were toy dogs or large breeds that are more for companion.

And then I remembered Nemo, my brother's dog that died a couple of years ago. He was a good guard dog with high IQ and was very loyal. I figured this is the kind of dog that I would want to protect me and my household.

Since we are back in KK, I thought we might as well get the dogs from here. Because the last time I checked, getting a Belgian Shepherd in KL is hard as it is a rare & restricted breed. And even if there was any for sale, a puppy would cost not less than RM2500. But my brother's friend a Belgian Shepherd breeder in KK gave me a good deal on 2! For only RM1500... I am already saving RM1000 there. I figured, the cost to transport the 2 dogs to KL would be less than that... All I need to do is to get the import permits ready and the puppies will be on their way over.

The process of importing is not easy, but since I have experienced them before in my previous job I guess I can try doing it again. If I can get many live animals to Europe & Australia, how hard can it be for me to get my puppies from Kk to here.
