Far from it!

Just a few days ago, I blogged about being alone at home. And I thought my days will be filled with privacy and maybe a little bit of loneliness. Little did I know that it's going to be far from that...

It started with mom's trip down to KL to be the chaperon for my cousins whose parents were in town on works and didn't have time to take the children along before the school holiday started. It was great of course since I actually planned on taking her to KL for a shopping trip as it is the month of sales carnivals and Ramadhan is just around the corner.

And on the second day she's here, I was summoned to take her and the kids out to KLCC to the Aquaria and also a little bit of shopping. I had the driver fetched me from my house, to KLCC, to Putrajaya and to Serdang for MAHA and back home. It's a bliss having a driver in KL, I was openly wishing that Bo will get me one soon. Of course to him, that would be unnecessary since he said he enjoys driving.

Last Friday, Bo, Dean and me headed up to Terengganu for the UMT's golf tourney. It was tiring 5 hours journey to and 7 hours journey back to KL. We had to drive slowly as it was raining all the way except when we reached Kuantan. As tiring as it was, it was worth the trip as all three of us won something in the game, so we took home several presents (mostly electrical appliances). By the time we reached home, mom was already there waiting for me to have dinner together. She said she prepared something simple, I didn't mind a bit. Whatever mom cooks are heavenly and nothing can even come close. For a moment there, I forgot about my diet program and ate like there was no tomorrow.

This morning, I woke up to find mom already fully dressed and waiting to be taken out somewhere. I promised to take her to the nurseries in Sg. Buloh as she wanted to buy some plants that are apparently impossible to find in KK. Bo and me took her there after breakfast and let her roam there for almost 3 hours and she came back with more than 10 species of weird looking plants. Needless to say, my house has became her temporary plant storage until she gets back to KK. Until that time comes, I am enjoying the nice bloom smell in my little garden and I have a feeling I am going to be enjoying this gardening thing.

Oh no! Am I becoming a boring housewife?
