Mom left for home today...sob..sob..sob...
And it was raining heavily today... to the point that some areas in KL were flooded. Friends who work in KL called to say they were stuck in massive traffic jam, not something unusual whenever it rains.
I like rainy days, literally... It's a good feeling when you are in the comfort of your living room, with a mug of hot chocolate and a good book and it rains outside. The feet will automatically curled because it's cold outside and you have a blanket to keep you warm. You don't have to worry about watering the plants outside. And you can't wait for the hubby to get home so you can cuddle together on the couch and enjoy the warmth and fuzzy feeling together.
But then with rainy season comes inconveniences. The laundry takes forever to dry up (if you are like me who depends on the sun rays to dry them clothes)... Golf games have to be canceled, you can't enjoy the walk with the dogs in late afternoons which means he has to do his business somewhere in the dry house's compound. Cooking and any house chores that include water is troublesome because it's cold. And there goes the enjoyable bicycle rides that actually involves more on peeking through the nicely renovated neighboring houses rather than exercising.
Whether you like it or not, rainy season is here... So get the umbrella out. For me, I'd like to play under the rain one of these days... Mom is not around to scold me and to tell me to take my shower quick before the flu bug stink...
