As it turned out, I didn't go to the dinner. Let's be honest here, my reason is because I don't like having a third wheel. You know what I mean, don't you?
It's just me. If there's something planned for just me and him, I hate it when at the last moment, someone i.e. his friend wants to join in. It's not that I have anything against the guy. Bo always 'neglect' or 'abandon' me whenever his friend is around. He'd go anywhere or do anything for them and left me to deal with whatever it is he left me at. And though I don't have problem socializing or mingling with other people, I always thought more than half the fun is gone whenever he's not around. The worse thing is he thinks that it's okay with me!
So, when I told him I didn't want to go to the dinner and that he may just bring his friend instead of me, he got angry. He said he has surprise for me... Being the stubborn me, I told him I didn't care. We ended up in a quarrel, just because he thinks bringing his friend to 'our' night out was okay!
Now tell me and be frank, am I wrong for being angry? Was I wrong telling him that I don't like a third wheel (even if we ended up fighting)? Do I need to tolerate this and eat my heart out? Am I not being rationale here?
I went to the practice range instead and hit the balls as if they were his head!
