Pack up!

It's barely a year since we moved here from Subang and now we are moving again.

I remember how excited I was about moving to bigger house, with backyard and front lawn. I wanted to do gardening and I could bring Noah out for his daily walks without having to worry about getting the 'warning look' from the security guards. I thought the 'suburban' area will be perfect for me.

After just half a year, I got bored. I don't like staying in a big house. I wanted to go back to my old apartment, but unfortunately it's already taken by someone else. So, everyday I went online just to find condos or apartments with big enough space for me to put all my furniture but small enough for me to maintain without the help of cleaning maids. You see, I enjoy cleaning house but when the house is big, I'd give up. Cleaning my current house would take me more than 2 hours everyday. Every time I clean the house, I'd be wishing to go back to an apartment where it'd be easier to clean and takes less time cleaning.

Yesterday, Bo & me viewed this condo unit near the club. It's perfect! The owners are an elderly Chinese couple and they are so nice! My number one concern is Noah, that's why I'm picky when it comes to choosing a house. This owner actually okay with me having Noah in the unit as long as we don't cause our neighbors any disturbance. But we checked and the unit on our right side is occupied by Chinese so they would not mind (I hope!) and the left side is so far away.. Our unit is a corner unit so that's another plus factor. The owner must not be Muslim, as I have a dog and I am not willing to part ways with him and it won't be fair if I just bring Noah in without telling the owner. So, the condo unit we viewed yesterday is just perfect! With 1500 sq ft, 3 rooms and a store room, that's just perfect! And this unit comes with a kitchen cabinet, my top requirement.

So, I'd probably be very busy in the next month. I'll be doing checklist for the moving and the same process will begin again. Luckily, I have had 'a moving experience' and it'll be easier this time around.

Mimi, congratulation in finding the perfect home. We are actually hoping to get a unit near to my son's school for next year, but don't like the idea of having to pay for management every month. But for convenient sake, I'll keep looking and actually hoping to buy one :D
Wish me luck!

Thanks Hannie. Good luck in finding your perfect home. Take your time, you'll eventually find it. It's buyers market nowadays with the economy not doing so well.
