Father's Day

So I just got back from KK - I was there for almost a week and when I reached Shah Alam just now, it felt like I never left. I was already missing family back home :(

I arrived KK on Saturday midnight, just in time to celebrate Father's Day with my dad and the whole family... We were supposed to treat him to a golf game somewhere nice. However, he had to leave the house very early Sunday morning for his monthly medal at the club. Oh well, the golf game had to be re-scheduled. As I have been craving for some Sabahan comfort foods, we went off to Menggatal Ngiu Chap for some serious brunch. I ate like there was no tomorrow. I wasn't even hungry!

That Sunday night, we went to have dinner at a seafood restaurant in town. While my mom wanted to rush home to watch the Bintang RTM, my dad, me & Bo went off to join up my aunts and uncle at Blue Lagoon for a karaoke session. Also to celebrate my one of my aunt's brithday.

Secretly, I was planning a mini golf tournament with the ladies of KGC to celebrate Father's Day. We were sponsoring a tournament under my dad's name, but he didn't have any idea. He thought the tournament was for Bo's birthday all along... The tournament went well even with very short notice and just one day of planning. Kudos to the ladies committee member of KGC! Dad won 7th placing with his partner and I won a tray of eggs for being last!

All in all, I went home just to celebrate Father's Day with my dad and I'm glad I can call it a success!
