OK... Tell me what's wrong with this picture??
I am not talking about the girl's hand in her back pocket (if that's all you see here)... I am talking about the boyfriend/husband carrying her handbag, an LV Speedy at that!
Girls, it's not a pretty sight, right? Why would you want to get a designer handbag if you make your man carry it for you? The bag should be an extension of your accessories... the man too can be your accessory if you wish, BUT not a man WITH your handbag.... This really is a sore to my eyes!
Guys, if your girlfriend/wife asks you to carry her bag, PLEASE REFUSE.... It's definitely not a gentleman gesture... If she thinks it's heavy for her to carry around, leave it at home... Carry her stuffs in your 'manly' bag instead, like maybe a massenger bag or a bagpack...
I've seen this many times, strangely only in Asia or by Asian... Anybody care to shed some lights on why this has to happen?

That is a dumb thing to do. I mean, it's OK for a while if your woman needs to do something and needs a quick hand, but not carrying it for a long time.
Example, I hold Mel's bags when she goes to the loo for example.
But the photo here, that's gay and it pretty much tells you who's wearing the pants. :-)

@Dan - That's right, if it's only for a short while, it's ok.. It's even sweet to see. But if the guy is to carry it all the time he's with her, that's like enslaving himself.. It's not even gay! I mean, my gay friends don't do things like this... They accessorize themselves deliciously!
I definitely agree with you. I don't want my boyfriend carry my bag for me, except for a minute if I'm putting out a stone from my shoe. =p
What's more, I really want me to be with my Hello Kitty bag. haha. That's my accessory. =p
Here in France some girls did that too lol
I hate that too! I noticed quite a few guys in shopping malls here in KL who carries their gf's bags. Eww.. beh tahan!

i was thinking of blogging about 'laddie bag' myself but apparently you beat me to it first hehehe. yes, everytime i see guys carrying their partner's handbag, macam mau temuntah sia tinguk. you'd see this at the malls everyday! plenty of them, so to speak. it's ok i guess if the guy is an 'ah kua'. guy carrying lady handbags? NOT HOT!
Ya bah kan! Hahaha! Sometimes, I saw the guy put the girlfriend's handbag over his shoulder lagi... Sometimes, it looked so funny I had to laugh at them in front of their face!
