In case you can't see the photo clearly, it's the woman sitting on her chair with both leg crossed!
I sure hope that it's NOT a Malaysian thing!! But I've seen this so many times (especially here in Shah Alam) to ignore it...
Whether she wants to feel comfortable while enjoying her meal or it's just how she's brought up, it still looks ugly and 'unlady-like'... More so when she's wearing a supposedly 'very Malay' frock.
Why being critics, you ask me? It's from having a father who's very particular about table manner mixed with having a mother who talks about it a lot!

yes it's annoying. and i hate the way some ppl eat and making those "Pig eating" like noise. Can't they close they mouth while eating? disgusting
hissshhh! might as well bring own tikar and bersila there.
Haha! It only happens in Shah Alam! If there's one thing in my life that I would change is to NOT live in Shah Alam bandar-wannabe kampung and lived in PJ instead.
I will move out of this place in time.
Maybe she thinks she's Aladdin? :-D "Fly me chair, fly me awaayyyyy"
LOL!! Habis the lady masuk your blog..
If she is wearing jeans, probably i can accept it, but wearing baju kurung and sitting like that?? Hmmmmm..not a nice sight at all..
'Sila..sila...buatlah macam di rumah' bah dia ingat tu... LOL!
When I was a kid, my parents forbade me to sit like that when eating.
But sometimes, when I'm home with my boyfriend (haha, never in a restaurant of course or wathever outside our home ^^" ) I sit like that. It's confortable. ^^
@Q - Ya, that pig eating sound? If I can capture it, I'd put it up and blog about it too! How irritating, right?
@Ennie - Exactly!
@Dan - OMG! You are so right! I wish I could go back to staying in Subang Jaya... That Saujana Residency looks inviting... Hehehe
@KM - Hahaha.. ya bah! But even if she was wearing jeans, it would still look rude. She can do it at home but not in a restaurant even if it's just KFC.
@Carol - Ya. Saya rasa dia rasa dia di rumah bah tu kan? LOL!
@LG - Yup, no one will critic if you do that in the comfort of your own home... but in a restaurant is another story.. hehehe
