I've been contemplating whether or not to blog about what happened to me and my life in 2009. It has been a good year generally... but there were some other unfortunate events too. I decided that maybe sharing it with others may make me more "understandable".
I started 2009 with excitement, visiting my best friend Lucy and that shopping spree in London.
February - I decided that it's time I had my teeth straighten up. To wear these braces was a decision that took me about 7 years to make.
March - Nothing much except I went to Bandung for the first time and it was my shortest but powerful shopping trip ever! On this trip too I swore that I'd NEVER fly with Airasia Indonesia again if I have the choice.
April through May - During these months I got to check and found out if my body is capable of carrying a baby... whether if I were after all fertile. Hospital visits and obviously needle pokes were very much involved..
June - We moved to the apartment after less than a year staying at a double-storey house, and gave me a total peace of mind!
July - One of my Malinois died of snake bite. I've been meaning to take them to KL, but now I've decided to just leave the remaining one there. But I still feel bad..
August - My birthday month! Bo treat me to a trip to Sydney, it was my first time down under and won't be the last!
September - We found out that I was pregnant and was over the moon!
October - First, we found out that I miscarried and had to do D&C. And then six days later I was admitted to the hospital again. The test showed that I was in fact carrying a triplet. Unfortunately, two embryos were planted on my left tube, it's termed Ectopic Pregnancy. So, I was admitted to the hospital and was anesthetized twice in 1 week!
November - I went to Bali for a weekend to rest & relax - thank God for that or else I'll be going crazy home alone! What with the happening in the last month.
December - A few ex-classmates and me organized a reunion party for our batch from SMK Perempuan Likas after almost 10 years! And I went on to do another Laparscopic to remove my right tube as it was badly damaged and will risk my probable pregnancy in the future.
And that was the reason why I didn't party away on New Year's Eve... But it's ok, looking back, it was a good year for me except towards the end.. Oh well, there's always next year! I have good vibes for 2010! Resolution? I have none... I'm pretty content!
