The RX300 tale... sigh...

Bo and I have decided to get a car from here and ship to KK for our use there. We figured that it would be cheaper that way to have my choice of car, unless of course we were misinformed..

Last Sunday, we found the one car that I liked... Before we reserve the car, we wanted to get a mechanic down to do a thorough check on the car's condition... We also wanted to have a look at the registration card.. Just in case..

I didn't mention this, I saw this car on Mudah first.

As it turned out.. interestingly, the car's previous owner is Bo's friend. So, naturally Bo made a call to his friend.. More interestingly, the friend didn't even know that his car has been sold.. After second look at the card, we saw that the ownership of the car has been changed just recently in January 2010. Strangely, Bo's friend doesn't remember selling the car to anybody.. This car has been for his business partner's use since the purchase. And the transfer name on the card is his partner's name.. Mind you, this is NOT a company car.. Just a private car being borrowed by the business partner.. And this partner has been siphoning money out of the company's account before he went missing. Now, isn't that interesting?

Yesterday, Bo's friend called and told him not to buy the car because he wants to take legal action against this guy. A car that is involved in legal proceedings will definitely be held by the authority until the case's solved.. We don't want to risk that!

So, all my dream of sending the car on its way to KK in a cargo ship, with nylon slings, anchor Shackles, and car tie down straps is just that, a dream... :(

Now that that happened, we got to go look for another one.. But deep down, I still want that particular RX300. It's human nature, you always want one that you can't get..

New baby? new BB..

Remember I blogged about getting a BlackBerry for Christmas last year? Well, guess what? I gave that one to a friend.. Before you go saying "Sayang juga...." I have my reasons for being so generous..

When I ordered my first BB, the latest model hasn't been launched in Malaysia yet.. It was a week after I ordered that they launched it and by then it was too late for me to change my order. So, when they launched the new Bold 9700 with Digi earlier this month, I was among the first in line..

And now, Digi is opening a pre-order for iPhone 3Gs.. Mmmm... Not really my cup of tea.. since I already have an iPod and a PSP.. And the touch screen feature will just irritate me.

My bestfriend Lucy is still deciding whether to get a BlackBerry or iPhone.. Of course, I'd love for her to get a Blackberry so we can BBM.. but some people suggesting that she gets an iPhone.. She's torn between these 2, given the choice, what would you choose?

After a few days of trying, I finally got to watch Alice in Wonderland last night... The storyline's simple but everything else was great! I couldn't help but fell in love with the costumes! They were just so exaggerated, but beautifully.. And although most of the characters looked so cadaverous, I liked the make-up too.. again because they were exaggerated..

But I noticed something else while we were waiting for the movie to start... And you know I blogged about indecent cinema behavior before? This is another one that just put me off! If it's not for the ticket being hard to get and the cinema being almost full, I would have moved..

Can you see the woman's feet on the seat, next to the other woman's face? If I were that "victim", I would have tell her off.. but this woman didn't say nor do anything. Guess she was too excited to watch the movie..

She must have known I took a photo of her feet though, because right after the flash from my camera phone went off, she put her feet down. I was so close to taking a picture of her face..
